Welcome to the official website for Caribbean Attorneys Network, Inc. CAN is a professional organization that grew out of a need for a networking group for lawyers, law students, and legal professionals of Caribbean descent to share our unique backgrounds, goals, and initiatives. CAN is an award-winning organization that was founded on June 20, 2014.  CAN's aim is to educate, uplift, and give back to the Caribbean diaspora all while having a good time. We hope that you find our content and events dynamic and engaging and you too will want to be a part of CAN's growth as we may be from MANY ISLANDS but we all have ONE VISION.

MOYA O'CONNOR, ESQ.

Founder & CEO

Moya O'Connor is the Founder & CEO of Caribbean Attorneys Network, Inc. since its inception in June 2014.  She represents Jamaica, and she is a Partner at Barry, McTiernan, & Moore, LLC focusing on the defense of public and private commercial entities.

RICARDO SALMON, ESQ.

Co-Founder

Ricardo Salmon is the Co-Founder of CAN.  He represents Jamaica and is Assistant General Counsel for Healthcare Risk Advisors, Inc. and an Adjunct Professor for Post University.

SIMONE ARCHER, ESQ.

Co-President

Simone represents Jamaica, and she is an Administrative Law Judge for the NYC Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings. She also is the Managing Partner of the general practice firm Archer Law, PLLC.

Co-President

Ms. Nikia Williams represents Trinidad & Tobago.  Nikia serves as an Associate General Counsel at RiseBoro Community Partnership practicing housing and real estate law.

RENEE KENDALL, ESQ.

Executive Board Member

Renee Kendall represents Trinidad & Tobago and serves as CAN's Community Service Chair.  Renee is the owner of The Kendall Law Group specializing in trusts and estates law and real estate.

CHRISTOPHER FODERINGHAM-GARRAWAY, ESQ.

Executive Board Member

Christopher represents Trinidad & Tobago, and he is a Senior Appellate Court Attorney for the New York State Unified Court System.

Executive Board Member

Madjeen represents the island of Haiti, and she is an Attorney at Wilson Elser practicing management-side labor and employment law.
